Staff and Management Training Programs
The forces propelling the global education sector towards a greater focus on ‘markets’ requires a much stronger and more professional training and upskilling response from education institutions. This includes all staff involved in market facing activity.
The 5Rs Partnership is often involved in the recruitment selection, training and mentoring of staff at all levels in schools and universities, as they seek to adapt to the challenges of a “market culture” – processes, structures, skill sets and competencies, and supportive resources.
In line with our integrated approach, we have particular expertise in building a shared understanding of marketing responsibilities between academic/teaching staff and marketing staff.
We have also created online resource kits for schools and universities to support staff development (Boards, management, academic/teaching, support, and marketing staff) to deepen understanding, application and integration of concepts where we hold unique perspective and experience – Strategy, Reputation, and Marketing. We are currently developing with the Council of International Schools an online course for school managers around these concepts.
Why choose us?
Our depth of sector understanding and sensitivities are unmatched, and especially beneficial for example to those marketing and communications directors who are new to the education sector, and the result is often a more effective manager more quickly, with the following advantages:
- Improved cultural sensitivity
- Speedy understanding of the regulatory and competitive environment
- Less need to go on expensive and off-the-shelf training events
We have been are currently retained by both schools and universities as professional ‘guides on the side’ to steer the development of market facing capability at academic, management, marketer and international portfolio levels.
We have also contributed more widely to the professional learning of education sector personnel over the years through the creation of four university levels courses related to education marketing, internationally.
